One of the flagship events that highlights the anticipation of the Community Campaign, the Williams Energy Golf tournament supporting the United Way returns on Thursday June 20th. The tournament will be a four man scramble, registration at 8:30am and Tee times starting at 9:30 at the Fort McMurray Golf & Country Club. On Friday June 21st, Canadian Mental Health Association will be hosting their annual Taking Off the Blindfold Golf Tournament at Miskanaw Golf Club. Registration begins at 7:15am with shot-gun start at 8:00am. Prizes for the day include $10,000 hole in one and a new car. For more information contact the CMHA office at 780-743-1053.

On Saturday June 22nd, the Centre of Hope will be hosting it's second annual Moonlight Classic Golf Tournament at the Miskanaw Golf Club. The evening will kick off at 8:00pm with dinner and silent auction followed by tee off at 10:00pm. Proceeds from the Moonlight Classic will go to support and expand our Outreach Program. The Centre of Hope believes additional funding for staffing and patron needs will make a world of difference in the lives of homeless, and potentially reduce the number of individuals living on the streets.
