Our IMPACT guest on August 7th was Algonquin chef Cezin Nottoway from Quebec. She is hosting two episodes of a 6-part documentary series called Red Chef Revival. She visited several Indigenous communities in Wood Buffalo exploring traditional foods and ways of preparing it. From making mint tea from local flowers to preparing charred beaver tail with birch syrup, this episode focuses on traditional foods of our first peoples.
